How the flooring calculator works
Always round packs up — part packs are not sold and off-cuts rarely align with the next row.
Formula
packs = ceil(area × (1 + waste) ÷ coverage per pack)
Worked example
A 5 × 4 m room with 2.2 m² packs and 8% waste needs 10 packs.
